How do these fit? Should I size up or down?
Our pants run true to size based on the measurements in our size guide. If you're between sizes, we recommend sizing up for a more relaxed fit through the hip and thigh. The mid-rise waistband sits at the natural waist, and there's a touch of stretch so they move with you throughout the day.
I'm petite — will the cropped length work on me?
Yes. The cropped cut hits just above the ankle on most heights, which elongates petite frames rather than overwhelming them. Most of our customers between 5'2" and 5'4" wear them with low loafers, sneakers, or flat sandals without needing to hem.
I'm taller than 5'8" — will they look too short on me?
The crop sits higher on the ankle for taller women, which works beautifully with ankle boots or low heels. If you prefer a longer length, this may not be the right pant for you — but most of our taller customers (5'9"+) love the proportion with the right shoes.
Do they fit through the hips and thighs?
Yes. The relaxed barrel leg is cut to skim through the thigh, not cling to it. Customers with fuller hips and thighs consistently say these are the most flattering pants they've found.
What is the fabric made of?
98% cotton, 2% spandex. Soft, breathable, and with just enough stretch to be comfortable without losing shape. Heavier than leggings, lighter than denim.
How do I wash them?
Machine wash cold, hang to dry or tumble dry low. Avoid high heat to keep the cotton from shrinking. They'll look brand new for years if you follow that.
Will they shrink in the wash?
Not if you wash cold and avoid high-heat drying. Our cotton blend is pre-shrunk during manufacturing, but heat can cause slight shrinkage over time like any cotton garment. Cold wash, low or no dryer heat is the safest bet.
Will the color fade?
The dye is colorfast under normal washing, but darker colors (black, navy, coffee) hold their depth best when washed inside out in cold water.
